Starting counseling often brings up questions. The information below is intended to offer clarity and reassurance as you consider whether counseling may be a good fit.

  • You may request an appointment through the secure online scheduling system or reach out through the website contact form or email for additional information. Intake forms and next steps are provided electronically prior to the first session.

  • Counseling services are offered to adolescents (14 and older) and adults located in Texas who are seeking support for emotional, relational, or life challenges. Services are provided via secure telehealth and limited in-person sessions in San Marcos, Texas.

  • I offer secure telehealth services throughout Texas and limited in-person counseling in San Marcos for individuals and couples. Areas of focus include trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, emotional regulation, and other mental health or life concerns. Counseling is provided in a confidential, supportive, and client-centered environment and is delivered within the ethical scope of professional counseling practice.

  • I provide traditional couples therapy and focused two-member family counseling (such as parent + child sessions). I currently do not provide ongoing family systems therapy with multiple family members in a single session.

  • Counseling may be helpful if emotional concerns, stress, or life circumstances are affecting daily functioning, relationships, or overall well-being. Clients do not need to be in crisis to benefit from counseling.

  • The first session focuses on reviewing informed consent, discussing current concerns, and identifying goals for counseling. Clients are encouraged to share at their own pace.

  • Most services are offered exclusively via secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth for clients residing in Texas. A limited number of in-person sessions in San Marcos, Texas, are available.

  • Restored Vessel Counseling is based in New Braunfels, Texas. Counseling services are provided via teletherapy to clients throughout the state of Texas with limited in-person availability in San Marcos, Texas.

  • Yes. Evening and weekend telehealth appointments are available to help accommodate busy schedules.

  • Individual sessions: $105
    Couples sessions: $130

    A superbill can be provided upon request to assist with insurance reimbursement.

    Clients may also use a private pay option or request a superbill for out-of-network reimbursement to maintain autonomy and privacy. Please contact the office for specific insurance eligibility and billing details.

  • Yes. Counseling services are confidential and provided in accordance with Texas law and professional ethical standards. Limits to confidentiality are reviewed during the informed consent process.

  • Clients need a reliable internet connection, a private space, and a device with video and audio capability, such as a computer, tablet, or smartphone. Sessions are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform.

  • It is normal to feel uncertain about starting counseling. Therapy is a collaborative process, and clients are encouraged to ask questions and explore whether counseling feels supportive and aligned with their goals.
