Sliding Scale Option
Session fees are discussed during the initial consultation. A limited number of sliding scale sessions are available based on financial need and current availability, with fees ranging from $75–$90 per session. Sliding scale availability is limited and cannot be guaranteed.
Payment Options
Payment is accepted via credit or debit card, as well as HSA/FSA cards, and all payments are processed securely through SimplePractice at the time of service.
In compliance with the No Surprises Act, clients who are self-pay or not using insurance have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges prior to services being provided.
Payment is due at the time of service.
Cancellation & Late Policy
To support consistent care and respect for scheduled time:
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled session.
Late cancellations or missed appointments may be charged the full session fee.
Late arrival will result in the session being canceled, and the regular session fee will be charged.
If a client is 15 minutes late, the session will be considered canceled.
Exceptions may be made at the clinician’s discretion in cases of emergency or unforeseen circumstances.
Do you work with insurance?
Insurance participation is facilitated through my supervising LPC-S. Eligible clients may be able to seek out-of-network reimbursement by submitting provided documentation to their insurance plan. Coverage varies by policy and is determined by the insurer.
What is a superbill?
A superbill is a detailed receipt that includes the information insurance companies typically require for out-of-network reimbursement, such as provider credentials, service codes, and session fees. Clients can submit a superbill to their insurance company to request partial reimbursement, depending on their plan.
How does out-of-network reimbursement work?
If your insurance plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits, you may be eligible for reimbursement. After your session, you can request a superbill and submit it directly to your insurance provider. Reimbursement amounts vary by plan, deductible, and coverage details, so it’s best to contact your insurance company to confirm your benefits.
While reimbursement is not guaranteed, many clients find this option helpful when insurance is not accepted directly.
Common Questions About Billing
Telehealth Services & Texas Telehealth Consent
Services provided via telehealth use secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms to clients physically located in the state of Texas at the time of the session.
By participating in teletherapy, clients acknowledge and consent to the following:
Telehealth involves the use of electronic communications to provide mental health services.
While telehealth offers increased accessibility and convenience, it may carry potential risks, including technology disruptions or limits to nonverbal communication.
Clients are responsible for ensuring they have a private location, a reliable internet connection, and a compatible device for sessions.
Teletherapy is not appropriate for all clinical needs. If telehealth is determined to be clinically inappropriate, referrals to alternative services may be provided.
Teletherapy services are not intended for crisis situations. In the event of an emergency, clients should call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Additional crisis resources will be provided during the intake process.
